Clearly Covid-19 has had an impact on consumer behaviour, with lockdowns, physical distancing, queuing to get into stores has driven consumers to shop online.

A Deloitte study shows that there has been a $2.4bn increase in E-commerce activity from February - May 2020 to the same period last year.

Whether we agree with the saying "This is the new normal" many companies are accepting that and are adapting their businesses with with the long term view that this change in consumer behaviour will continue.
